Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures and possess a strong clinical background.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assist in various surgical specialties, including but not limited to orthopedics, total joints, fractures (ankle/hip), gynecology, robotic surgery, urology, general surgery, ENT, and ortho spine
• Operate in compliance with established protocols and patient safety guidelines
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals
• Demonstrate competence in using electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Epic

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the operating room setting
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Prior travel experience as a nurse is necessary
• Availability to work on Christmas Day is mandatory

Additional Information

This position requires the ability to be flexible with work hours, as there will be variable call schedules. Please note that block scheduling will not be accommodated, and all requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.
