Position Details
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and devise personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals.
- Implement Evidence-Based Therapeutic Techniques: Apply researched interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily life capabilities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, multifaceted care.
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Teach patients and their families the therapeutic techniques essential for continued progress at home.
- Monitor and Adjust Treatment Plans: Document progress and healthcare outcomes, modifying strategies as necessary to keep patients on track.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
- Encouragement for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- NBCOT certification is mandatory
- A strong commitment to helping others achieve their fullest potential for independence
