Warehouse SupervisorWarehouse Supervisor will assist the Warehouse Manager with the supervision and coordination of all aspects of warehouse operations. Effectively and efficiently handle customer service complaints and concerns. Train new team members in job duties. Comfort level working in a diverse, fast-paced environment. Follow company guidelines and company operational policies.Salary Range: $87,000 - $91,000 DOE + 10% Team Achievement Dividend BonusLocation: 8005 S. 266th St, Kent, WA 98032Hours: Sunday - Thursday; 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM (or finished) - flexibility will be required for PTO coverage, training and business needs.Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities and DutiesRecruit and interview new team membersKeep the Warehouse Manager informed of potential problemsAttend and participate in annual Leadership & Development training sessionsAssign job tasks according to shipping schedulesCoordinate team member tasks and responsibilities to receive, store, and load food products and support goods in accordance with established company standards and procedures and within budgeted guidelines while controlling costEnsure a safe and positive work environment in compliance with OSHA, company standards, local, state, and federal requirementsUtilize and train team members on handheld scanners to perform all functions: pick, sort, pack, receive, stock, etc.Maintain positive customer relationshipsReportingAssist in compiling daily key indicatorsAccurately complete all necessary paperworkWarehouse Inventory PlanningMaintain inventory control through effective warehouse methodsAssist Manager with quarterly counting and/or annual physical inventories using solo chain system reports inventory software in order to ensure inventory accuracyWarehouse OperationsReview the load sheet and verify the accuracy of the assembled loadAssist driver where needed with pre-departure load checkMake recommendations to the Manager on operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory currentAssist Manager with being audit and 5s ready at all timesPerforms regular Gemba walksPerform other duties as assigned by the Manager and/or DirectorQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED, some college with equivalent work experience, 2 year degree preferred2-3 years of warehouse, manufacturing or production experience2-3 years of supervisory experienceMust have and maintain forklift certificationThorough knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory controlMust successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary dateSolid knowledge of OSHA regulationsSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office softwarePhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hoursWalking in/ around the warehouse with great frequency; many facilities are over a quarter mile in lengthAble to access all areas of the building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation)Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the headLift and move totes up to 49 pounds eachMust be able to work in extreme temperatures [33-38 degrees], and in environments with exposure to loud machineryAdditional InformationPaid Holidays and VacationPositive work environmentBenefits on the first day of employment!401k matching contributions15% off the purchase price of the stockCompany bonusReferral bonusesCareer growth!All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.Job LocationDC Washington-WA93
