FAC/GRDS Maintenance Technician

The FAC/GRDS Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic quality of facilities and grounds within the organization. This position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, addressing repair needs promptly, and supporting the upkeep of both indoor and outdoor environments. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in facility and grounds maintenance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification in facility maintenance or related trades.
• Experience with landscaping and groundskeeping equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
• Conduct groundskeeping duties such as mowing, trimming, planting, and snow removal to maintain outdoor areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance operations.
