ICU Background & AcuityStrong indicators: SICU, Transplant ICU, Neuro ICU, or mixed-acuity ICU Manages vents, vasoactive drips, invasive monitoring Comfortable with rapid deterioration and escalationNo Step-down or telemetry only Cannot clearly describe acuity or critical decision-making---2. Transitioning from ICU to PACUStrong indicators Mentions rapid assessment, anesthesia recovery, airway vigilance Understands short-term, high-risk monitoring vs long-term ICU management Prior PACU exposure is necessaryNo: Thinks PACU is less acute Limited understanding of anesthesia-related complications---3.
