STAGING DESIGNER/DESIGNER (PART-TIME)

Staging Design DC, an established, high-volume, professional, residential home staging company serving the DC metro area, is seeking candidates to fulfill a role as a part-time home staging designer . This position will be working remote, on-premise at our warehouse in Beltsville, MD, and on location for assigned stagings. As a home staging designer ,you will be responsible for designing, planning, directing, and implementing residential staging projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include viewing videos and photographs of the assigned property; curating a design plan specific to the space from our extensive inventory of furniture and decor; cleaning and preparing items for staging; hanging light artwork, mirrors, and other wall decor; placing accessories and throws; making and decorating beds; creating tablescapes; directing the mover team in loading, unloading, and placing furniture; and ensuring that all appropriate processes are followed. QUALIFICATIONS: Must have an eye for design and a strong willingness to learn; experience as a stager is a plus, but not required. Must speak English. Proficiency in Spanish in addition to English is helpful. Must be dependable, professional, polite, and work well with others. Experience working with and/or interacting with clients is preferred. Must be able to independently commute to the Beltsville warehouses and to stagings in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Must be adaptable. Must be able to lift 30 lbs. Must possess a Social Security Number. Must have a smartphone. Must be comfortable with light data entry; proficiency with Google Workplace is preferred.
