Your future role at a glance Location: Middleburg, FL Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Clay Medical Office Building Schedule: Full-time How you'll make an impact in this role Coordinates and schedules surgical procedures to ensure optimal utilization of operating rooms, equipment, and surgical staff. Liaises with physician offices to gather necessary scheduling information and accommodate patient and physician needs while adhering to department guidelines. Manages the assignment of operating suites, equipment, and time blocks to maximize resource efficiency. Accurately enters required patient demographic, billing, and insurance data into electronic medical records to prevent surgery delays. Reschedules procedures as necessary to accommodate emergency cases and other unanticipated logistical changes. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
