Occupational TherapistThe Pittsford Central School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 school year. We are extremely proud of our students, teachers, and school community.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate, plan, program and provide occupational therapy services for students with disabilities, ages 5 to 21 years oldDevelopment and implementation of IEP annual goals and objectives based on each student's needs or 504 accommodation plansDelivery of ongoing occupational therapy services within program assignment in collaboration with parents, teachers, other school professionals, and appropriate community agencies/servicesParticipation in school/building/program team meetingsParticipate in Committee on Special Education meetings as necessaryProvide thorough and timely reporting of student progressImplementation of various service delivery models: individual, small group, integrative classroom, RtI/MTSS, etc.Establish and maintain a daily schedule.Establish and maintain professional working relationships with school professionals, parents, students, and fellow colleaguesAttend departmental and program assignment meetingsPreparation of CSE packets as required by assignmentComply with PCSD policiesPossible staff development for OT Department and/or clinical education of OT studentsSupervision of Certified Occupational Therapy AssistantMaintain licensure through ongoing professional educationComplete daily documentation that complies with NYSED and Medicaid requirementsRecommend adaptive equipment, environmental accommodations, or assistive technology to facilitate students' participation in school activitiesProvide training and support to school staff, students, and parents on the use of adaptive equipment and techniquesOther duties as assigned by the Director of Special EducationThank you for your interest, please apply online.
