Job Title

Duties and Responsibilities

• Source and purchase materials, parts, equipment, and services to support operations
• Develop and establish relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors
• Obtain and analyze quotes, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Collaborate with operations and scheduling teams to understand material needs
• Monitor inventor levels to maintain optimal stock without overbuying
• Prepare and process purchase orders and approve invoices for payment
• Implement and maintain service contracts
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, lead time, delivery, and cost
• Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, defective materials, or invoice discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
• Support cost saving initiatives without compromising quality or lead times
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Purchasing experience in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
