About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Executive Director for Childcare to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all childcare programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence. This role involves leveraging technology to support program management, data analysis, communication, enrollment systems, budgeting, staff scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Associate Executive Director will also be involved in hiring, managing, and evaluating Out of School Time Directors, as well as building effective relationships and mentoring staff team members. Applicants for the Associate Executive Director position should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a degree in human services, business, or social services. A minimum of six years of professional leadership experience in childcare services is required, along with a strong knowledge of all aspects of operations, including staff supervision, program development, and financial practices. The role demands the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups and a track record of building authentic relationships. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at using technology, have a valid US Driver’s License, and be committed to the mission and values of the organization.
