What You'll Bring to the Table:

Required Skills:

• Accredited Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; PE license highly preferred
• 10+ years of electrical systems design experience within consulting or related industries
• Proficiency in single line diagrams, P&IDs, NFPA standards, and power distribution hardware
• Skilled in power system modeling, control systems, and hardware interfacing
• Extensive experience with Autodesk AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, BIM, and AGI32
• Familiarity with short circuit analysis, ARC flash studies, and protection coordination (SKM, ETAP)
• Knowledge of lighting, grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, hazardous area classification, and low voltage telecommunications standards
• Understanding of energy-efficient design per IECC and USGBC guidelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to lead resources and collaborate effectively

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with heat trace systems and utility interface design
• BIM software expertise beyond AutoCAD and Revit
• Certification or active involvement in professional engineering organizations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Professional Engineer license (PE) highly valued
• Over 10 years in electrical design, especially within industrial or process environments

Other Requirements:

• Ability to travel as needed to project sites
• Demonstrated leadership in project estimation, scope development, and resource management
