Wound Care RN (BSN)

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM)

Job Description: The Wound Care RN (BSN) will provide specialized nursing care for patients with various wound-related conditions. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing treatment plans in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patients' wound care needs and progress.
• Develop individualized care plans and provide appropriate wound management.
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Documentation of care provided and patient responses in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• 2 years of experience in Wound Care nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in South Carolina (or proof of application for licensure).
• Required certifications: BLS and WOCN (continence certification not required).
• Pediatric experience is highly preferred.
