Bring your energy and classroom skills to a Saturday Academy serving high school students in St. Petersburg—and we’ll handle the rest.

Tried & True Education is hiring part-time instructors to provide tutoring, test preparation, and engaging academic enrichment classes. We’re looking for dynamic, in-person educators who thrive in front of a classroom and enjoy working with students, especially those from underserved communities.

No lesson planning. No grading. No late-night prep.

You’ll arrive with a complete curriculum, all necessary materials, and students ready to learn. We’ll train and support you so you can focus on what you do best: teaching.

Schedule and Compensation

Instructors will teach for four hours on each of 16 scheduled Saturdays.

• Pay: $50 per hour
• Location: St. Petersburg, Florida
• Schedule: 16 Saturdays, 4 hours per Saturday, October 2026 through May 2027

Strong instructors may also be offered additional teaching opportunities through our after-school, evening, summer, and future Saturday programs.

Job Requirements

• Reliable transportation to St. Petersburg program locations
• Availability for the complete 16-Saturday schedule
• A completed bachelor’s degree
• Strong communication and public-speaking skills
• Comfort working with high school students and academic material
• Teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, ministry, camp, theater, or youth-leadership experience
