About the Role: As a Staff Tax Accountant, you’ll work alongside seasoned tax professionals to support tax preparation, planning, and compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers hands-on experience and mentorship with the opportunity to advance rapidly based on your contributions and initiative. Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Assist with year-end tax planning and projections. Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations. Maintain accurate and organized tax files and client records. Support tax audits and respond to notices from tax authorities. Collaborate with senior staff on special projects and consulting engagements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required). CPA or CPA-eligible preferred (but not required). 3-5 years of tax accounting experience (internships included). Proficiency with tax preparation software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. What We Offer: Competitive Salary & Benefits – $75,000-$85,000yr based on experience.
