Full-Charge Housekeeper

We are seeking an exceptional Full-Charge Housekeeper to join the team of a fully staffed, luxury private residence in Surfside, Miami. The schedule will typically be five days per week from 8:00am – 4:00pm, with flexibility required for occasional overtime hours based on the needs of the household. You will be joining an established household team and reporting directly to the Executive Housekeeper.

The principals are a warm, respectful family who value professionalism, discretion, positivity, and long-term staff relationships. This role is ideal for a polished, proactive, and highly detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and understands the importance of maintaining a seamless, quiet presence within a formal home.

The ideal candidate will be an expert cleaner with exceptional attention to detail and significant experience caring for fine furnishings, luxury finishes, and specialty materials. English communication skills are required, as the household operates through coordinated team communication channels and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily full-charge housekeeping of a large luxury residence, including deep cleaning, tidying, organizing, and maintaining immaculate presentation throughout all living spaces
• Expert care and maintenance of high-end finishes, delicate surfaces, specialty fabrics, stone, wood, and fine furnishings
• Laundry and wardrobe care including washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and closet organization
• Coordinate and work alongside additional household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and consistent household standards
• Maintain household organization systems and proactively identify areas needing attention
• Follow direction from the Estate Manager while also taking initiative independently
• Assist with occasional guest preparation, entertaining support, and special projects as needed
• Comfortable working around dogs and assisting with light pet-related tasks when requested
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience working in a similar role within a high-end private residence
• Excellent knowledge of luxury household cleaning procedures, products, and care for delicate materials
• Strong organizational skills with a meticulous eye for detail
• Ability to work independently while also functioning well within a fully staffed household environment
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented mindset
• Comfortable around pets, particularly dogs
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
