As we continue to expand our reach nationwide, we’re looking for a Social Media Intern who is passionate about storytelling, purpose-driven content, and the power of digital connection. This individual will play a key role in helping bring our mission to life online — turning transactions into stories, partnerships into movements, and impact into engagement. Role Overview As a Social Media Intern, you’ll work directly with the Collectively USA marketing and leadership team to plan, create, and manage digital content that amplifies our voice across platforms. You’ll support upcoming campaigns, while helping to grow brand awareness, deepen community relationships, and showcase our work with nonprofits, universities, and businesses nationwide. This internship provides hands‑on experience in content strategy, digital analytics, and purpose‑driven marketing — ideal for students or emerging professionals looking to make an impact in social media, brand storytelling, or community engagement. Responsibilities Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling weekly social media content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. Support Collectively’s ongoing campaigns through copywriting, graphics, reels, and community engagement. Help develop and maintain the Collectively Compass content calendar, ensuring consistent brand voice and visual identity. Monitor engagement metrics and generate monthly performance reports to help guide growth strategy. Conduct light research on nonprofit partners, credit card industry trends, and social storytelling opportunities. Collaborate with leadership and creative partners on upcoming experiential campaigns, media launches, and PR opportunities. Capture content from events, volunteer days, and activations (photo/video support). Preferred Background Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills. Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Later, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or native scheduling tools). Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Detail‑oriented with an eye for design, tone, and message consistency. Passionate about community impact, social causes, and creative storytelling. Self‑motivated, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
