Job Title: Student Assistant - WOLF Radio: Social Media Director Location: UWG Recruiting Location Regular/Temporary: Temporary Full/Part Time: Part-Time Job ID: 298598 Job Summary Develop a strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing customer online reviews. Monitor online ratings and respond accordingly. Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy. Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management. Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns. Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. Conduct online advocacy and open stream for cross-promotions. Develop and expand community and/or blogger outreach efforts. Oversee design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog). Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns. Compile report for management showing results (ROI). Work with Operations Manager to determine next steps to better social media strategy Plan and execute with Promotions Coordinator on ways to get social media fans into listeners Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written). Apply current tools and technologies to assist with station remotes and events Train and mentor assistants and volunteers Adhere to all Policy and Procedures Report any and all violations to GM and OM Required Qualifications All students must have completed one or more of the following courses: In house WIT Training Course, COMM 3351-Radio Program Production, COMM-3352 Fundamentals of Television Production, COMM-3353 Fundamentals of Film & Video Production, COMM 4421-Radio Practicum, and COMM-3354 Digital Social Media & Society. Must be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours and have a 2.0 GPA.
