Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a full-time, onsite School Psychologist position for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work directly within a dedicated educational team, assisting students’ social, emotional, and academic growth. Your expertise in assessment, collaboration, and counseling will be instrumental in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential meeting KS SCHOOL PSYCH REQUIREMENTS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
- Completion of an internship or relevant practicum experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual student assessments and interpret results for eligibility and intervention planning
- Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students
- Collaborate with staff, families, and community agencies to create supportive solutions
- Assist with behavior intervention planning and multi-tiered systems of support
- Engage in consultation and professional development with school personnel
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to compliance requirements
