Senior Accountant

Senior AccountantPreparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and performing other accounting duties as assigned. Additionally, assists Internal Audit with coordinating the completion of Sarbanes-Oxley testing.Primary Responsibilities:Perform monthly financial reporting activities. This includes creating and analyzing journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensuring all month-end activities are recorded in an accurate and timely manner each monthAssist in preparing of the monthly financial statementsPerform cash reconciliations, Construction in process/Fixed Assets and intercompany responsibilitiesResponding to internal and external audit requests that are required on a quarterly and annual basisResearch variances and resolve issues with the process ownersContribute to the development of new or amended accounting processesFinancial analysis as requiredPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:BS in Accounting requiredThree plus years of progressive financial accounting experience working with all aspects of financial accountingStrong understanding of US GAAPStrong accounting, analytical and variance analysis skillsEffective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with various levels of management across CornerstoneProficiency of MS Excel and Word applications requiredSolid financial accounting principles and working knowledge of cost accounting in a manufacturing environmentAdditional Information:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000-$105,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
