About the Position

Job Title

MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Somerset, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures, including interventional MRI, in a 295-bed acute care facility serving an 11-county region
• Operate Hitachi open magnet MRI equipment in accordance with facility protocols and safety standards
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and quality control for diagnostic purposes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team supporting cardiac care, advanced neurosurgery, and a Spine Center accreditation program
• May be required to float to locations within a 25-mile radius of the primary facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of MRI experience in an acute care facility
• All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
• Current and valid MRI Technologist credentials (e.g., ARRT or equivalent)
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Significant hands-on experience operating Hitachi MRI equipment, particularly older open magnet systems
• Experience with interventional MRI procedures
• Background working in a high-volume or multi-specialty acute care environment
