Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 10:45 AM – 11:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with a 101-bed unit capacity
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 for medical patients, with flexibility up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Utilize Cerner for clinical documentation and Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Float within all sections of the Emergency Department as needed to meet departmental staffing needs
• Uphold patient experience standards including AIDET communication, respectful behavior, and maintaining updated patient boards throughout each visit
• Collaborate with techs, cardiac monitoring unit staff, triage personnel, and unit clerks across day and night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Room setting
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ annual visits)
• Active RN licensure
• Required certifications prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience within an HCA-affiliated facility
• Demonstrated flexibility to work across all areas of a large Emergency Department
• Experience serving diverse, multicultural patient populations
