Surgical Oncology - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Atlanta Description Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the surgical service line team at our Piedmont Atlanta campus. This is a 7 AM to 4 PM position, available 365 days per year, with varying call responsibilities. In This Role You Will Perform first OR assist duties Rounding on patients in the hospital Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients in the hospital Evaluate post-operative patients in the office setting Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in the CVOR, ICU, CCU, and CVICU areas Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and provide leadership to the organization Piedmont Benefits Generous CME allowance Competitive compensation 401k with match EPIC EMR system Focus on quality, service, and reputation Qualifications Minimum Education Required: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing, OR graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board. Minimum Experience Required: None. Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: Licensed Physician Assistant in Georgia OR licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP, FNP, or WHNP).
