Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Job Description We are looking for a Medical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at St. Luke's East. Full time, Monday-Friday, 4x10 shifts. No weekends, no holidays, and no call requirements. The APP will be accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsibilities include: Collecting and analyzing client health data and identifying appropriate expected outcomes Developing and implementing a plan of care Providing comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management Consulting to influence the plan of care for clients Enhancing the abilities of others and effecting change in the system Using prescriptive authority procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations Evaluating clients' progress in attaining expected outcomes Conducting nursing research Providing education to patients, families, and nursing staff Case managing high risk patients See department policy regarding scheduling requirements.
