Release Planning & CoordinationOwn and manage the integrated release calendar across Guidewire and connected platformsCoordinate release activities across development, QA, UAT, performance testing, and production deploymentDrive release readiness reviews, go/no-go checkpoints, and deployment governanceManage release scope, dependencies, sequencing, and deployment timelinesCoordinate cross-team implementation activities across multiple workstreams and vendorsEnvironment & Deployment GovernancePartner with Platform/DevOps teams to ensure environment readiness and deployment stabilityCoordinate code promotions across Dev, SIT, UAT, PERF, and Production environmentsValidate deployment plans, rollback strategies, and contingency proceduresEnsure alignment between release schedules, infrastructure readiness, and testing cyclesRisk & Dependency ManagementIdentify release risks, blockers, and cross-platform dependencies earlyDrive mitigation planning and escalation managementCoordinate issue resolution across Engineering, QA, Platform, and vendor teamsEnsure production support readiness and operational transition planningQuality & Testing AlignmentPartner with QA leadership to ensure alignment across SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing activitiesEnsure release criteria and quality gates are met prior to deploymentCoordinate validation activities across Guidewire Core, Digital, Integrations, Earnix, and Data/Reporting workstreamsCommunication & ReportingProvide executive-level release status reporting and dashboardsFacilitate release governance meetings and stakeholder communicationsMaintain visibility into release health, risks, deployment status, and defect trendsDrive post-release reviews and continuous improvement activitiesReporting StructureThis role will work closely with:Engineering LeadershipQA/Test ManagementPlatform/DevOpsArchitectureProduct ManagementProduction SupportVendor Partners (Guidewire, SI partners, etc.)Success MeasuresPredictable and stable releasesReduced deployment risk and production incidentsImproved release transparency and governanceHigh environment readiness and release qualityEffective coordination across workstreams and vendorsAWS Certification is a plus
