Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team at Waynesburg Nursing and Rehab in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, conducting therapy sessions, and developing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, breathing exercises, and aerosol medication administration

• Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective care plans

• Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques and disease management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and progress

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to promote excellence in patient care

Requirements:

• Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
