About This Position Schedule: Monday - Friday Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Vehicle Requirement: The Commissary Representative Floater will be using their own vehicle to drive within a 90 mile radius. Must have reliable transportation. This is a traveling position and the Commissary Representative Floater can be assigned to go to multiple locations, but will be required to travel overnight. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Deliver product to canteens at specified correctional facilities with the supervision of a correctional officer in a timely and efficient manner following all rules and regulations. Assist onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories. Maintain all areas, equipment, and products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner and maintain American Correctional Association and American Jail Association standards/guidelines when applicable. Attend orientation and training, annual on-site security classes and remain current in certifications as required by the Facility. Work at several locations within a 90-mile radius of home unit, as assigned by District Manager. Follow all policies and procedures. Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business. Grocery, retail, or warehouse experience is a plus. Must be able to use their own vehicle and operate a 26ft box truck. Must be able to lift up 50 lbs. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Pay Hourly pay plus $.72 per mile. Paid weekly on Thursday. What You'll Need High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a self-starter who can work well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner. Must be well organized. Must be able to multi-task and be a team player. Reliable transportation – will need to travel within a 90 mile radius. Ability to work in a correctional environment. Ability to work well with ever changing priorities and or situations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
