We are looking for about 1 week on/1 week off coverage starting in January. The position is to help with ED
on call coverage. Providers will be expected to be on call for the ED and during their shift complete surgeries
and rotate doing post op consults.
*UPDATE on Shift times: Shifts for the APP's are 7a-3p or 7a-5p, also an 11a-7p weekdays is available and
7a-3p shifts on the weekends.
We are looking for acute care surgery experience in candidates.
The APP is there to assist the surgeon. If the provider is on call coverage and gets a call about an other
urgent case, the APP be the first to be called to go assist and then the surgeon will join them. Occasionally
the APP does help with post op consults if the surgeon is stuck in a surgery.
There will be no clinic for this position.
