As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Monitoring in Atlanta, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, verify credentials as assigned, and report access-related concerns.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
