Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Outpatient General Pediatrics

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in the ambulatory care team by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients and their families. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: Participate as a care team member in managing a panel of patients in partnership with our primary care physicians. Evaluate and treat acute and chronic health conditions and promote wellness in our outpatient primary care pediatric clinic. Provide counseling and education about common pediatric illnesses and promote wellness with patients and families. If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from an accredited Nursing Program If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited PA Program Licenses and Certifications: Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include: Pediatric Primary Care or Family Medicine. Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND Active PA board certification All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire. Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
