We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Strength/HIIT Group Exercise Class Instructor to lead invigorating fitness classes within acac .

 

As a Strength/HIIT Group Exercise Class Instructor, you will design and implement high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts focused on strength and conditioning. Your role will involve guiding participants through safe and effective strength training exercises, ensuring proper form, and motivating them to push their limits. 

 

The ideal candidate should possess a nationally-recognized group exercise or personal training certification, have a thorough understanding of human anatomy, and be passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness objectives.

Requirements:

Physical demands

• Must be able to successfully demonstrate proper exercise techniques
• Must be able to actively participate in classes
• Must be in excellent physical condition to teach classes 
• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
• Must have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required competencies, education, and experience

• Current nationally recognized group exercise or personal training certification
• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior experience teaching group exercise classes is highly desired
• Superior customer service skills
• Must have excellent communication skills to work positively with different populations
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years old

Company expectations

• Read, sign, and abide by the policies included in the Team Member Handbook
• Park in team member designated areas
• Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
• Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings
• Assist with Service Days, as assigned by Supervisor
• Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
• Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
• Exhibit a positive attitude at all times
• Deliver outstanding service to members and guests, following acac’s Five*Star principles
