Job Description: 
Position Summary:
*Under moderate supervision, performs a range of diagnostic imaging procedures across Angiography, Interventional Radiology, and Diagnostic Radiology and serves as team lead. 
*Partners with physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic interventions while ensuring patients and families are clearly informed about procedures and special requirements.

What You'll Do:
* Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in Angiography, IR, and Diagnostic Radiology settings
* Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures
* Communicate procedure details, preparation requirements, and expectations to patients and families
* Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Interventional Radiology procedures:
* Central venous access and vascular access line placements (PICC lines, ports, tunneled catheters, dialysis access interventions)
* Image-guided drain placements (abscess drains, biliary drains, nephrostomy tubes, pleural and peritoneal drains)
* Image-guided biopsies (liver, kidney, lung, lymph node, soft tissue)
and more

Neuro Interventional Radiology procedures:
* Cerebral and spinal angiography
* Endovascular aneurysm coiling and flow diversion procedures
* Stroke thrombectomy cases (mechanical thrombectomy)
* AVM and AVF embolization
* Carotid and intracranial stenting procedures
* Acute neurovascular emergency interventions

What You'll Bring:
* Associate's degree or equivalent (2 years of college); specialized field knowledge required
* 5 years of relevant imaging experience.
* Active ARRT Certification
* Active Maryland State License
* Current American Heart Association CPR Certification

Skills and Certifications: 
*Maryland License-Certified Medical Radiation Tech Advanced Level CT Certification
*ARRT Registered
*American Heart Association CPR Certification
