Events & Retail Promoter (Full-time)The position's primary purpose is to promote the benefits of Renewals by Andersen and schedule qualified appointments to increase sales.Renewal by Andersen of Houston is an Andersen Company dedicated to the local homeowners. The position's primary purpose is to promote the benefits of Renewals by Andersen and schedule qualified appointments to increase sales.General Responsibilities:Travel to different locations to promote company product using trained MethodologySchedule appointmentsSetup and tear down eventsPrepared with supplies for setup, i.e. catalogs, lead sheets, etc.Attend weekly meetings and trainingEducation/Experience Required:High School Diploma or equivalent or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience Preferred:One year of experience in sales, promotions, brand ambassador, retail, or related customer serviceSkills:Must have good communication skillsMust have job knowledge/product knowledgeMust be able to work with little supervisionAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to write simple correspondenceAbility to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employeesBasic computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.Basic math skillsAbility to take instruction and prioritizeMust have transportation and able to travel in Houston and surrounding areasMust have a cell phonePhysical Demands:Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.Must be able to work outdoors if event is outsideThe State of Texas is an "at will" employment state.
