We aim to craft a hyper-personalized, delightful and frictionless experience for millions of our customers.About the RoleAs a Senior Staff Machine Learning Engineer on Core Cx, you will set the personalization (P13n) strategy for the entire consumer shopping journey and bring that strategy to life. You will use our robust data and machine learning infrastructure to implement new ML solutions to make the consumer search experience more relevant, seamless, and delightful across restaurant, grocery, retail and all business at DoorDash . You will modernize the recommendation system leveraging AI. Hands-on experience optimizing LLM systems (e.g., fine-tuning, advanced prompting strategies, structuring JSON/tool-calling outputs).Strong technical intuition paired with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.Humility and growth mindset, leading through expertise and collaboration, not hierarchy.CompensationThe successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location.
