Legal Billing Specialist - Direct Hire - $70-90k

Requirements

• 1-3 years of legal billing experience
• Experience with legal billing software and e-billing platforms
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Background at a mid-sized law firm preferred
• Not considering recent graduates at this time

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree

Key Duties

• Manage full-cycle billing for assigned attorneys, including proforma creation/editing and processing complex bills (split-party billing, multiple discounts, e-billing)
• Handle the e-billing process end-to-end, including client/matter setup and resolving disputes or rejections
• Serve as the main point of contact for billing questions among attorneys, paralegals, and clients
• Ensure billing complies with firm policies and client-specific guidelines
• Prepare reports, accruals, budgets, and billing analyses
