Seasonal Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description – Seasonal Registered Nurse – NICU (260002JD) InterHealth Medical Staffing Solutions is a for‑profit staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, a Magnet‑designated teaching facility in Florida. We are hiring for 13‑week contracts with competitive base pay and benefits. Seasonal contractors may consider full‑time or part‑time conversions and may be eligible for contract extensions based on coverage needs. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within the specific division and be competent to work independently. Responsibilities Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient‑care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self‑care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Qualifications Florida RN license. Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications through ARC or AHA. Minimum of 1 year of experience.
