The Country Club at Castle Pines is seeking Food Runners and Server Assistants to join our team. Server Assistants generally make $18-$22 per hour and work between 10-29 hours per week. Our Server Assistants and Food Runners are often moved into Server and Bartender roles once they are ready and legally able, and many seasonal employees love coming back year-after-year. Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, hardworking, passionate, and eager to learn! The Country Club at Castle Pines provides a unique culture that is very positive, friendly, and fast-paced.

The primary function of our Server Assistant and Food Runners is to create a personable experience and exceptional service for our members while also supporting fellow staff for a positive work environment.

Essential duties include:

• Adhering to all uniform, grooming & hygiene standards and maintaining professional appearance at all times including a welcoming smile.
• Arriving to work in a timely manner.
• Recognizing members and guests by name, creating a professional relationship in a respectful, hospitable fashion.
• Possessing a good work ethic by being effective and efficient when it comes to multitasking, flexibility, and working under pressure. Following the steps of service accordingly.
• Complying with all food and beverage rules and regulations. Protecting establishment and members by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Communicating properly and respectfully to members, guests, co-workers and management for a successful customer service.
• Possessing strong menu knowledge, weekly specials, identifying member's specific dietary, food allergy and requests.
• Confidence in knowledge and memorization of table numbers.
• Performing and completing shift checklist following rules, sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Reporting to Lead Staff before leaving.

Working environment/physical demands include:

• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing up to 40lbs or heavier with assistance and use of proper equipment.
• Accustomed to walking, standing while staying focused and alert for long periods of time in addition to some kneeling, stooping, crouching or crawling when necessary.
• Comfortable carrying serving trays with food and beverage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Will work in both indoor and outdoor environments with loud to moderate noise level, moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme weather temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, and smoke.
• Must engage in an extended conversation with membership.
