Security Incident Response, Security Engineer, US Amazon Dedicated Cloud Security

Amazon's Security team is looking for a Security Incident Response Analyst to detect, investigate, and respond to threats against a U.S. Government program building a purpose-built, classified AI Factory. We are obsessed with protecting customer trust, and on a fully air-gapped platform with no commercial cloud control plane we build our detection and response capability from the ground up. In this role you monitor security telemetry, triage and investigate alerts, drive incidents through containment, eradication, and recovery, and turn every event into better detections and playbooks. You will work in the trenches with detection engineers, SOC analysts, forensics, and our Government counterparts to keep a high-value classified system defensible around the clock. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
