Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts (7:00–15:00); 4x10-hour days may be a possibility | On-call required (variable call on weekends and nights, approximately 8 shifts/month) | Every 3rd or 4th weekend required depending on rotation and time-off requests

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across all areas of the surgery department, including Pre-Op, Post-Op, Circulating, PACU, and Endoscopy
• Support a 2-room OR covering specialties including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, GI/General Surgery, ENT, Pain, and Dental
• Maintain appropriate patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:4 depending on care area and patient acuity
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage on weekends and nights as required by unit scheduling
• Float between units and, when applicable, to nearby sister facilities as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered or granted
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate (locals accepted at a different rate)
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start (Charge RNs and Leads accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR specialties including OB/GYN, Orthopedics, GI/General Surgery, ENT, or Pain management
• Familiarity with Epic EMR in a perioperative setting
• Experience in PACU and/or Endoscopy in addition to primary OR circulating experience
