Coding Specialist

To enhance coding accuracy and compliance, the full-time Coding Specialist will review, analyze, and code medical records remotely while ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines. Key responsibilities Review and code medical records to ensure accurate documentation and billing Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding queries Stay updated on coding guidelines and regulations to maintain compliance Required qualifications Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent) Proven experience in coding within a healthcare setting Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy Ability to work independently in a remote environment
