Learn more about ENGIE North America at Role Description The Solar Technician II role at ENGIE North America is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Townsend, DE. The technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar systems and related power generation equipment. Tasks include inspecting, testing, and maintaining solar power systems, replacing defective components, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and maintaining detailed service records. The role requires working both independently and collaboratively to ensure optimal solar power system performance and operational reliability. Qualifications Comprehensive knowledge of Solar Systems and the Solar Power industry Strong understanding of Power Generation systems and their operation Proficiency in Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in solar and power systems Experience working in or with the Solar Industry is a plus Commitment to safety protocols and preventative maintenance practices Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training in electrical or renewable energy systems is preferred Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to work sites as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr ENGIE North America Inc.
