Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Physical Therapist within a dynamic Pre K–12 educational environment. This itinerant position will have you traveling between multiple school sites, allowing you to make a difference in diverse settings and age groups throughout the academic year. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of up to 37.5 hours weekly.

Your expertise will be crucial in supporting students’ physical development, helping them access their education to the fullest. The role requires on-site presence at schools in the greater Fort Myers area—no virtual options available.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license from the Florida Department of Health
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and experience working with Pre K–12 students across various needs
• Flexibility and adaptability to serve different school sites within the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver physical therapy services tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy into the school day
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
• Travel between assigned campuses to maximize your impact district-wide
• Ensure compliance with all school district and state requirements, including up-to-date credentialing and fingerprint clearance
