We are seeking a motivated second- or third-year law student to join our team as a part-time law clerk for approximately 15 hours per week. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional law firm by supporting our attorneys and staff with both law clerk and file clerk responsibilities.

Compensation:

$15 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda on trusts and estates and business law issues

• Assisting with drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, trust administration materials, and business transaction documents

• Preparing correspondence and summarizing client files for attorney review

• Organizing, maintaining, and updating client files, both physical and electronic

• Providing general administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed

Qualifications:

• Current second- or third-year law student in good standing

• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Interest in trusts and estates and/or business transactions preferred

• Availability for approximately 15 hours per week, with a flexible schedule around classes
