Role Overview
We're working with a growing residential childcare provider opening a brand-new children's home in Doncaster , and we're looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the service from the ground up.
This is an excellent opportunity to take full operational responsibility for a new home, build a strong staff team, and create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can achieve genuinely positive outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the Children's Homes Quality Standards
Leading and supporting the staff team, embedding high safeguarding standards throughout
Ensuring care plans are delivered effectively to meet the individual needs of every young person
Managing staffing, rotas and operational procedures
Ensuring all records and reports remain fully compliant and up to date
Building strong relationships with local authorities, families and external professionals
What You'll Need
Experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care, or as an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress into a leadership role
Strong safeguarding knowledge and a solid understanding of Ofsted frameworks
Experience leading teams within residential childcare settings
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or a genuine willingness to work towards it)
A full UK driving licence
