Join Our Client as a Senior Controls Engineer in Fremont, CA a world leader in gases and technologies for industry and health! We seek an engineering grad with 10+ years of PLC/DCS automation experience. Advance your career designing advanced control systems for chemical plants.

• Independently develop, configure, and program DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems (including Siemens and Rockwell) for process automation in hazardous chemical manufacturing facilities.

• Champion a Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time culture by actively participating in Design Reviews and PHAs, and implementing systems with appropriate Safety Integrity Levels (SILs).

• Efficiently troubleshoot system hardware and software, implement independent corrective actions, and perform critical loop and interlock tests for new processes and annual ISO checks.

• Establish robust engineering design bases and meticulously assist with essential documentation, including PFDs, PIDs, process packages, MOCs, and interlock matrices.

• Leverage deep knowledge of electrical distribution and ethernet-based industrial networks to safely support and optimize overall plant control systems.
