Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Schedule: 3x12-hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will be responsible for providing respiratory care to pediatric patients, including neonates and infants. The position demands hands-on skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic tests on pediatric patients.
• Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding respiratory care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant experience.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
• South Carolina RCP license must be in hand at the time of start.
• Epic experience preferred.
