Our North Vernon office is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit. As a key member of our front office team, you'll help create a welcoming environment while supporting scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. - Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
- Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experience
- Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment options
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service
- Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
- Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care
- At least 1 year of experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with dental software systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Greeting: Create a welcoming atmosphere for patients and greet each patient with a warm welcome
- Guiding: Assist patients with check in/check out procedures (including insurance verification), schedule appointments, and provide information about services and payment options, guiding them through their visit with ease and professionalism
- Gratitude: Express appreciation to patients for choosing us for their dental care and treat everyone with respect and professionalism
- At least one year related experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
