As a Production Operator, you’ll be the hands and eyes behind transforming raw glass into finished panels that are ready for homes and businesses. Every shift brings variety: one moment you’re aligning files for the machines, the next you’re troubleshooting a quirk or guiding a panel safely overhead. Precision and safety are your daily companions. And for those who think glass is fragile, here’s the punchline - it takes serious strength and grit to work with it.

This Grand Haven manufacturer fabricates shower doors, mirrors, and aluminum-framed glass products with a focus on craftsmanship and custom orders. Their goal is to deliver dependable, high-quality glass solutions at scale.

Your day involves running production equipment, interpreting DXF designs, handling materials with cranes or manual lifts, and troubleshooting any issues that pop up along the way. You’ll maintain consistent quality checks while following standardized safety and production instructions.

We offer this position:

• Pay: $17.50-18/hr.
• 2nd shift: 1:50pm–10:00pm | 3rd shift: 9:50pm–6:00am
• Paid weekly
• Raises possible after evaluations at 2 weeks, 30 days, and 90 days

Qualifications

• Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery
• Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English
• Competent in reading tape measures (standard and metric)
• Basic computer and documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail with physical stamina to stand, lift, and move glass panels up to 50 lbs
• Team-oriented with the ability to mentor others
