Job Description POSITION TYPE: Allied Health SPECIALTY UNIT: Radiology Technician LOCATION: Charlotte, NC SHIFT: FT 9am - 9pm Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent Job Summary: Associate performs quality Diagnostic procedures in an accurate and timely manner. He/she operates diagnostic equipment and processes images. Associate prepares patients X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and delivers patient services using various imaging modalities. Associate practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. He/she maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co- workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals. Must be registered/eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must possess Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) from TDH. Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
