**Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse!** - **Profession:** Registered Nurse - **Specialty:** Operating Room - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (06:30 - 15:00) - **Travel Experience Required:** Yes - *Strong candidates with at least 5 years of experience may be screened* - **Years of Experience Required:** 2 years in the OR - **Charting System:** Epic **Certifications:** - Required: ACLS, BLS - Preferred: CNOR **Skills:** - Preferred skills: - **Vascular:** - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair - Arteriovenous fistula repair - Carotid angioplasty - Carotid artery stenting - Carotid Endarterectomy - Femoral popliteal bypass graft - **Gynecology:** - Abdominal/Vaginal hysterectomy - Anterior/Posterior Repair (Colporrhaphy) - Dilation & Curettage - Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures - **Robotics:** - Colorectal and Gastrointestinal robotic surgery - Da Vinci SP and Xi Surgical System - Mako Surgical System - **General Surgery:** - Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy, Hernia repair **Additional Skills:** - Circulate and scrub (highly preferred) - Emergency management, including code response and fire safety - Infection control and specimen handling **Work Settings:** - General OR with a variety of cases, including adult inpatient surgery - **Daily Census:** 40 cases - **Number of Operating Rooms:** 16 **Scheduling:** - Self-scheduled - Patient Ratios: 1:1 days and nights - Call Required: Yes - 12-hour call post-shift and weekends - Minimum of 1 weekend shift every 6 weeks **Unique Features:** - Orientation Hours: 40 - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics - Interdisciplinary Support: Access to respiratory, phlebotomy, pharmacy, and more - **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility can call off once per two-week pay period **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
