Bilingual (English/ Spanish) HR Coordinator

Openwork is currently hiring a Bilingual HR Coordinator  for a long-term opportunity with a growing manufacturing company in Tarboro, NC . This position is ideal for an organized, people-focused professional who enjoys recruiting, employee relations, and supporting a positive workplace culture. The role is primarily Human Resources (approximately 85%) with occasional administrative support to the Accounting department. Schedule

• 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Occasional overtime as needed

• $20.00-$25.00 per hour

• Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for manufacturing and office positions, including job postings, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding.
• Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• Serve as a primary HR contact for employees regarding company policies, benefits, leave, and employment-related questions.
• Translate HR documents and communicate policies, procedures, and training materials in both English and Spanish.
• Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Assist with benefits administration, workers' compensation, unemployment claims, and leave management.
• Support payroll by processing employee status changes and maintaining accurate timekeeping information.
• Assist with employee relations by documenting concerns and partnering with management on resolutions.
• Coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare HR reports, maintain compliance documentation, and assist with audits.

• Provide administrative support to the Accounting department on an as-needed basis (approximately 3 hours per week).
• Assist with accounts payable by processing invoices and maintaining vendor files.
• Prepare documentation for accounts receivable and billing.
• Reconcile receipts, purchase orders, and supporting documentation.
• Enter accounting and financial data accurately into company systems.
• Support month-end reporting and special accounting projects.
• Assist with daily bank and post office runs.
• Welcome visitors and serve as the first point of contact by greeting guests and directing them appropriately.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required)
• Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or HR administration.
• Experience supporting onboarding, employee relations, benefits, or payroll functions preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Accounting or administrative support experience is preferred but not required.
